San Jose Mountain Bike Triathlon
Body Marking: All athletes will be body marked. Both hands, calf, arms and thighs will be marked. Body marking will be done race morning only. Body marking will be done in the transition area, and is the racers responsibility to get their body marked.
Chip Timing: This race will be timed using Champion Chip Timing. Upon checking in you will receive a chip that is traditionally worn on the ankle. It is the athlete's responsibility to wear the chip during the entire race, if you do not wear the chip you will NOT be timed and you will not get your splits! Transition Area: The transition area is first come first serve. The transition area is very well marked with signage. NOTE: Do not forget to bring a towel for your area in the transition.
Preparing for Racing: Be sure to listen to race day announcers for important announcements throughout the rest of your warm up. NOTE: Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!!
Registration & Check In: This race will begin promptly at 8:00 am. We ask participants to show up at least 1-1/2 hour early to avoid registration lines. Please be prompt. There is no pre - race packet pick up !! All registration for the San Jose Mt. Bike Sprint Triathlon will be done on race morning. Please allow an additional 15 minutes getting to race venue from parking areas.
